Volunteer Opportunities

Donation Drive Volunteer

Help us bring essential resources to the women we serve by organizing and coordinating community donation drives.

What You'll Help With

Organizing and coordinating general donation drives, including:
- Food and nonperishable groceries
- Toiletries and personal-care products
- Women's clothing and undergarments
- Household and cleaning supplies
- Bedding, linens, and home essentials
- Hygiene and wellness items
- School, office, and program supplies
- Other essential items needed by the women we serve
Organizing and coordinating donation collections
Communicating with individuals, businesses, churches, community groups, and organizations interested in donating
Helping arrange donation drop-off and pickup logistics
Sorting, organizing, and preparing donated items as needed
Keeping track of donated items and current organizational needs
Helping ensure donations are properly sorted, stored, and distributed to the women we serve
Assisting with special or seasonal donation drives as needs arise

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys organizing, coordinating, and bringing people together for a meaningful cause. Your efforts will help ensure that needed resources reach the women we serve.

Community Outreach Volunteer

Help us increase awareness of I Am My Sister’s Keeper Prison Ministries, our mission, housing programs, and the services we provide to women in need.

What You Will Help With

Share information about our nonprofit, mission, programs, and services
Distribute approved flyers, brochures, promotional materials, and other outreach resources provided by our organization
Promote our website and social media platforms
Connect with local businesses, churches, organizations, community groups, and community leaders
Help identify potential donors, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners
Share current needs, donation drives, volunteer opportunities, and community initiatives
Help introduce our organization to new community contacts and potential supporters
Help expand awareness of the women we serve and the resources available to them
Represent our organization in a professional, positive, and respectful manner when conducting outreach

Marketing and outreach materials will be provided to help volunteers confidently share information about our organization. Volunteers do not need to create their own materials or marketing content unless they would like to contribute additional ideas or resources.

This is a great opportunity to use your communication skills, professional network, creativity, and community connections to help expand our reach, build meaningful partnerships, and connect more women with the support and resources they need.
